give, make

Our Operation Christmas Child shoebox is all packed up
and on its way.
I made one of Rachel's Friendship bags for last night's Friday Night Sew-In using some of my favorite stashed fall fabrics.  The third strip over (burgundy background) is from a dress mom made for my sister when she was tiny.
It's hard for a little family of two to finish off all our Halloween candy.  Instead of the big bowl sitting out through November, this catchall variation will hold the leftovers.  The handles are 5 inch strips centered around the side seams.
Happy Saturday!

I love your friendship bag! I love the fabrics you used. I made one and used it as my daughter's trick or treat bag. :-) I'd love for you to share this at my link party Submarine Sunday. It's open until Friday @ 11:59pm. I hope you'll stop by!
