Snow Day/ Sew Day
The Groundhog did not see his shadow in eastern Kentucky.  It started snowing at 9:30 am and hasn't stopped yet.
There's been a large tan pillow on my couch for several years now.  No before picture- you'll have to imagine it.  I recovered it today.
It looks charcoally/ black from far away but close up, it's a tonal animal print.  It looks really pretty with its new friend, herringbone pillow that I got for Christmas.  I took them outside where the lighting was better.
I pieced this band for the back making sure to add a pop of my favorite purple.
Come to think of it, this might be the front.
Check out the first purple Saturday of the year- Rainbow Challenge.

Nice Pillow cover - I'm needing to do a little decorating changes around here and new pillow covers is a great idea - Thanks.

Enjoy the snow! I found a new GLH book at the thrift store--it tells the story of Salvation Army workers at war.
