make, share

Fuzzy picture of my orange sewing
These little blocks are so fun to make.

Had a fancy schmancy dinner out last night.
A local doctor and his wife have a vineyard.  Several times a year, they host a dinner and wine tasting.  We had a yummy pita chip/salsa appetizer, lettuce wedge salad, pesto chicken and veggies (who knew I love skinny asparagus?)
 and this chocolate ganache cake.
We used a lot of words I hear on Food Network, and I learned I'm not a wine connoisseur.  It's not for me.

What a lovely dinner! Yummy! I am no wine connoisseur either, but it's fun to act like one.

That looks delicious! Wine is definitely an acquired taste. I only have certain ones that I've found I like. I'm sure you had a great time!

ha ha had to read your slice as I reached for the remote to switch to Sheldon! I'm with you on the wine too, not for me.

Sounds like a fun evening exploring new tastes. I am not a real wine person either though I like dessert wine. It very sweet.
