Two writing teachers encourage us to post a Slice of Life

each day in March:

We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by planning an activity and taking turns teaching each first-grade class.  The kids enjoyed making masks, puppets and fish to go with favorite stories.

I read a Theodore Geisel biography, completed a rhyming-word sort with a guess the covered word poem and an alphabet activity.  It was hectic and fun, but I like being in my own room, with my own kiddos.
