Tues- hand-quilted criss-cross lines on Happy Things quilt
Wed- same
Thurs- my dad cut PVC pipe and
we started putting this little fort together for my classroom
Fri- no sew
Sat- no sew
Sun- bought fabric, made roof for the little fort (pictures coming soon!)
Mon- put roof of fort together in my classroom
new fabric came in the mail :) for binding and new curtains
Tuesday Field trip
Colton chose our field trip today. The mall!
Since it's 94 degrees
and our air conditioner doesn't always kick on when it's supposed to,
I was all for it.

Creating something is so satisfying when it's done. It is more of a journey than others can see.
So much accomplished! I admire DIY people. My hands work on knitting and some card making, but beyond that I have no idea. I look forward seeing pictures of your finished fort!

I can recall fun days making a fort while I was growing up...never had a tree house but always dreamed of one. Now I make forts for my cat! Sandi
Sounds like a fun week for the kids. I remember those days of spending a hot afternoon at the mall. For you to get any sewing time in with kids in the summer is impressive to me.
