Snow-day reading

According to the Pattern (Hill, GL, 1903)

This is a story about forgiveness.  A husband cheats on his wife and she decides to win him back by getting to know the new girlfriend.  There are many details about afternoon tea, entertaining and decorating.  There are also several misunderstandings, a case of mistaken identity and a trip to the beach.

At church, a sermon is based on Hebrews 8:5 See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. KJV

It also includes the comforting Isaiah 65:24 Before they call I will answer, and while they are yet speaking I will hear. KJV  Very thankful for that.

and birding...
These sweet little guys nest all around our house.
He peeked in the window yesterday as if to ask,
"What's taking so long with the bird seed?"
He and the fam have been snacking every since.

Sounds like an interesting book. No reading here, it was warm enough that I ended up cleaning up the bird mess in the attic. It's a long story, but the little guys are on my naughty and not nice list at the moment.
