Weekend Wrap-up

On a bright, sunny Friday, we got up early and took off for Gatlinburg!  By 12:30, we were eating lunch at the Apple Barn.  Mmm...pork chops.  Checked in at Harrah's Cherokee, explored and swam.

Up early again on Saturday!  Breakfast at Flapjack's.  Mmm...french toast.  Shopped around Gatlinburg, the outlets in Pigeon Forge.  Lunch at Joe's Crab Shack.  Mmm...popcorn shrimp.  Mountain Quiltfest! with my dad and Colton.

They were not really this excited to see quilts- they humored me.

 

Up early Sunday morning, ready to head home.  Lots of traffic, so we snacked in the car and had lunch in Knoxville.  There's still a Don Pablo's!  Mmm...combo fajitas.

 

Up early Monday morning.  Way too early.  The internet was down all day at school and my pants were tight from all the restaurant meals. 

Still...totally worth the trip!
