fun, make

This year, our local Papa John's (owned by a school board member) established a Teacher of the Week award. A few weeks ago, I won! With all the snow days we weren't able to celebrate until yesterday.  I broke my cardinal rule of telling them anything before the day of. My kiddos were SO excited!
Cheers!
Slowly but surely putting some blocks together.
Daylight savings time and going out of the house one evening this week have thrown my sleep schedule for a loop, but I plan to catch up this weekend. Happy Saturday!

I'm with you on that sleep deprivation problem when daylight saving kicks in! Congratulations on the award.

Congratulations! I'll bet your kiddos weren't the only one excited!

I have to agree that this week after daylight savings is the hardest on me. I'm not one to oversleep, but I've found it hard to get up each morning. Having college students visiting and their sleep schedules hasn't helped.

Have such a hard time adjusting to time changes. Hope you are well rested and get lots of stitching done this weekend. Congrats on the award!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This time change thing is always hard the first week; however, I wonder if the long winter made it even harder this year!

Congratulations, that is exciting. The DST has really messed up our schedule too.

Congratulations on the win . . .

I find the "spring forward" easier than the "fall back" part of DST. Honestly, I wish it would just stay the same year round.

Congrats on the Teacher of the Week award! How Fun.

Love your blocks, very springy, which I'm more than ready for.

Congratulations! I'm having trouble with the time switch too. Lucky I can take a catnap for 10 or 15 minutes and then get going again.

Congratulations! The time change got me, too.

Woohoo for the recognition for your hard work and dedication! Teachers deserve far more credit than they typically receive.

For some reason, this season I've had more trouble with the time change than I've had in the past. At least it's made for a great excuse for not getting as much done!

Congratulations on the award. It's a shame the clocks forward change upsets your sleep rhythm, but rest assured flying from Vancouver to Europe is MUCH worse!

Congrats! I wish we could just keep one time instead of turning back and forward in fall and spring. I hated it when the kids were babies... it took them a week to adjust. Thank goodness it is a little better as they are getting older. Hope you get a chance to sew a bit this week.
