A finish
Another Charm Box!
This time in pink.
And a couple of starts
My first two scrappy blocks
of Pearl Gray from
Christa Watson's Machine Quilting with Style.
These took over an hour but I'll get faster.
Can't strip piece the scrappy ones :)
I'm also cutting 2 1/2" strips of each fabric for another project.
Planning to work my way through
They start out easy but then get more challenging.
I'm gonna need some Rainbow Challenge friend's encouragement!

Cute Charm quilt! That gave me an idea for some of my improv blocks (thanks)! I have The Quiltmaker's Gift and love the story. I think it would be fun to do what you're doing and make those quilts, too. But not sure I'll live that long, LOL. At any rate, I've put Quilts From the Quiltmaker's Gift on my Wish List. Count on some encouragement from me!
Hooray!! for a HOT PINK finish!!! Way to put those scraps to work.
Love the pink charm box!
Your blocks look lovely, and I'm sure you up to the challenge of the next quilts you have planned!
Pretty in pink Charm Box!
Yes, I would think you will get faster with those Pearl Gray blocks. I would strip piece all the gray around the centers first and get that all out of the way.
Congratulations on your Charm Box finish. It's so lovely in pink. I love working with precuts and make mostly Project Linus quilts for sick kids. Easy and colorful is a good way to start. Rainbow Scrap Challenge has been my online neighborhood for two years and Angela has been so welcoming. We love to see all the different things people are doing, like yours. Keep up the good work! Hope to see you here again.
Your Charm Box quilt is cute as it can be. That pattern in on my short list. Congratulations on a finish!
What a sweet Charm Box quilt. And the pink cupcakes are a hoot!
Congrats on the finish. I love the Quiltmakers' Gift. I read it to my kids and they love it too. What will be your first quilt from the book? I'll cheer you on.... and if you do the bow tie I might join in!
Congrats on a very pretty finish. Your new project is looking good, I really like those blocks.
