make

Still stitching away on King's Highway. It's like a puzzle- sew a seam, iron, make sure to lay it back down in the correct spot, going the right direction so the pinks and oranges match up. I had just enough strip-pieced nine-patches to add another vertical row.
Any exciting Saturday plans?

2013 A lot like today. Such a creature of habit.

You are more organized than I am! I'd have those blocks going every which way but right! They are so pretty!
My plans for today? Um...I have laundry going, I want to get some semblance of organization going on in my sewing room. That remains to be seen, there are some hand sewing projects and some red scraps calling my name though. Maybe I will just play instead of doing the responsible thing!

Kings Highway looks like such a fun quilt to make. How large are the blocks?

I have to piece in the same way, check layout... sew... iron... lay back down... check layout... sew... takes a bit of time, but better than unpicking!
