gratitude

My heart's kinda overflowing with gratitude this morning.
 Thanksgiving break starts today!
Nine straight days with no alarm, just fun.

Field trip yesterday to Festival of Trees
Broke my personal No Christmas before Thanksgiving rule
But it was worth it.
The cafeteria served Holiday Lunch when we got back.
Sweetest little voice (second kiddo in the pic) said, "They have pie."

Bought myself an early Christmas/Birthday gift.
It's looks brown during the day and black at night.
It's called Espresso and we love it.

Ten more bowties to go.
Still all stash. And I see two duplicates.
Six straight lines and a binding and this one will be finished:
Happy Saturday!

Hooray for scrappy progress and there is BLACK for the centers of the Bow Ties. Perfect for the RSC Color of the Month!!

Cute Bow-Tie blocks - looking forward to seeing them all together!

Enjoy your "no alarm" time. That's a different type of bow tie block. I like them with all the same centers.
