make

Happy New Year!
Our Christmas Break was extended to Tuesday,
then a 2-hour delay on Wednesday,
then no-school on Friday
because of the cold.

I kept right on reading, snuggling and sewing
straight on through.
Finished my Jelly Roll Slice last week.
I can see this in Christmas-y reds and greens next time.
and remember?
I made the top in one day!
Have a fun Saturday!

That is a lot of extra time off for the kids. I hope they won't have to make up all that time. Adorable little quilt. Glad you were able to get some sewing done.

Sounds like you know the perfect ways to fill up those snow days! I'm a retired teacher, and I still get a thrill when I find out it's a snow day. Your jelly roll slice looks wonderful!

Love your jelly roll quilt. I've never seen that pattern, going to save it for my Project Linus ideas.

One day! Wow! That is a lot of time off - hope it doesn't all have to get tacked onto the end.

Your Jelly Roll Slice quilt turned out great! I agree that it would look amazing in Christmas colors. Gotta LOVE a pattern that goes together SEW quickly!!!

Congrats on a very pretty and colorful finish. The East Coast is really getting a taste of winter this year. Hopefully you are tucked up all warm in your sewing room.
