My third-graders and I made these little decopage jars a few years ago.  They sparkle on my front porch in October, half-filled with sand and a tealight candle.  

 This week, I used pickle jars, newspaper and big sticker letters to make these!  I'd seen something like them at crafty stores but as my mom and I say, "I could make that for a little of nothing."  They live in my fireplace now.

 During tonight's Sew-In, I'm gonna work on machine quilting this:

Three of the blocks are from Cricket's Tips and Tricks quilt-along and one's mine.  The border looks light, but it's red ticking.
