My new favorite block!
It's Stefanie's Charming Stars on Moda Bake Shop. I love the star hiding in the middle. Just one block to go for my Halloween wall hanging.
A few months ago, we visited Berea, KY for the Quilt Extravaganza. The vendors in the gym were great! I couldn't resist this sweet little scrap bag:
Inside, I discovered the prettiest line of fall colors- browns, golds, olive-greens and pinks! Lots of kinda jelly-roll size strips (some bigger, some littler) of Spirit by Lila Tueller. I used it to finally start my center block for Sunny's Stay-at-Home Robin. The pattern is a block of Posey Patch by Cyndi Walker in the April 2011 Quilting magazine. There's a little more to it- another border I need to finish up tonight because it's due at the library tomorrow.
I based my Fiesta Friday place setting on this block.
Chocolate, Cinnabar and Apricot.
I love fall!

Super cute, I can see why it is a new favorite. Love the Halloween fabrics.
Very pretty! I love the colors of Fall too! My favorite.
So many pretty fall blocks. I like them all (and the dishes, too).
Great blocks, I think I like the Posey Patch block the best. That little scrap bag looks like it was full of goodies! I love surprises like that!
