make

Once upon a time in 2010, I joined my first quilt-along, The Life of Hazel Ilene.  It was so well-organized and fun.  One little step each day with a cute diary entry to read, too.  I learned so much, attempted blocks I never would have tried on my own.  I met wonderful friends that I check in on often and won prizes along the way.  The top stayed on my UFO stack as I worked on other projects and did a little stitching on it here and there.  Last night, I added the binding.
The two borders are wider for some applique I planned to add along with a few more buttons.  But for all intents and purposes, it's finished and I love it!  It includes almost all my favorite colors.  And I've never made another Flying Geese set again.
On the front porch for all to see!
