Proverbs chapter 2- lots of great promises, but we have to do our part, too- accepting, storing up, applying, searching. Thankful for verse 8-

for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones. NIV

Another winter storm moving in this afternoon.  We're stocked up with groceries and stacks of books.  Have a little school project I may work on today, but no hurry...

I like your idea of posting a verse and responding to it. As a new slicer, I worry I will run out of what to write. YOU just gave me a new idea! Thanks

I agree with Sally. I like the idea of posting and responding to a verse.

Proverbs 2 is definitely an encouraging chapter! Like you said, we are given so many wonderful promises (with certainty!) if we accept his commands, follow them, store them in our hearts, etc. I'm thankful for One who does guard and protect our courses.

We got 5 inches of snow from that storm. It's pretty, if you don't have to get out in it! Stay warm!
