make, give, share

This is the second quilt I've finished this year! It's going to Project Linus for the Give a Day/ Get a Day program with Disney. I used Mary Engelbreit Nursery Rhyme panels and four-square blocks from my stash.
Six snow days in a row also allow for a lot of reading. In Coming Through the Rye, Aunt Patty shares cinnamon toast and tea with Cousin Maria during her short visit. While packing up the house, Romayne and Nurse Bronson had a quick lunch of cantaloupe on ice, lamb chops and roasted potatoes.
Two important theme verses from this story are:
No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. Isaiah 54:17, NIV
and Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 Corinthians 4:17, NIV
