give thanks

Here are a few things for which I am thankful:

 

 

1.  A Tuesday that feels like Friday + five days off!

 

 

2.  Having so many blessings that we're able to share.

One shoebox delivered.

 

3.  Winning an Honorable Mention ribbon

and a fun field trip to see it.

 

4.  Stories with amazingly happy endings:

I could not find my keys this morning, so we used my spare key to drive to school and a teacher's meeting.  We got out early, so I drove home to look around for a few minutes by myself to prevent worrying a sweet little boy.  While driving, "Was yesterday the day you put your keys on the back bumper when you got the mail?" whispered in my brain.  

I figured they were lying in the garage or driveway, but started looking in the other lane (of the main road in front of my subdivision) as I drove anyway.

Lo and behold, they were lying in the road.  the main road.  speed limit 55. 

They had been run over and my door-unlocker thingy is broken, but can you imagine?

  Still there?  Three hours later? 

 

 

2 Corinthians 4:15 NIV says...All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
