make

Another sewing slice of life
I've used Daisy Janie's technique to make two pretty scarves, a yellow one and a red one. I found a mint green cardigan at the mall, then came home and made this gray/silver and minty green scarf:
I branched out from the pattern by cutting 5" x 12" strips, sewing 2 together side-by-side until it was 6 pairs long.  Then... sewed it right sides together lengthwise, turned it right side out, offset the seams by about an inch and topstitched.
and...Happy Birthday, Mom!

Great job. It looks beautiful. I wish I had a crafty bone in my body.

Beautiful scarf!!!1 I admire people who can sew; I only knit. Maybe a picture of my knitted scarves when the last one is finished. Great idea!

Sounds easy and looks great. I'll have to try my hand at making a scarf (I'll add it to my project list. Thanks for sharing.
