make, share

Waffle Wednesday
Not just for breakfast. Girl Scout Cookie Samoa ice cream in a waffle bowl with double chocolate syrup and a tiny Snicker bar on top! Colton has been making these all week.

Still loving the free Two Happy pattern! These framed 4-patches look great on their own...
but I've been adding scrappy green, yellow and orange triangles to make the corner diamonds. Going straight through a stack of scrappy goodness. Yay decluttering!

     No spend day #2! Only put $5 dollars in my envelopes- mowing money is already saved up for this week. Cooked everything at home the past three days. Put 4 meal starters in the freezer over the past two days- homemade spaghetti sauce and cut-up baked chicken. It only took about 10 minutes total, but will save lots of time after school. School starts four weeks from today, by the way.
     Chapter 3 is about generosity. The assignment is to think of someone you could help out- financially or with time. Two verses to think about...
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded;
and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Luke 12:48

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds,
and to be generous and willing to share. 1 Timothy 6:18 NIV

Very pretty blocks. Sounds like you are making great strides in decluttering.

I was checking the school calendar today too, Drama Teen has right at 4 weeks before school starts, but only one more week of "vacation". She has a 4 day volleyball camp in a week, then mandatory VB practice which takes up most of the day for the 2 weeks right before school. Summer is certainly short for high school athletes that play a fall sport.

Do you have a recipe for your pasta sauce? I want to learn how to make it from scratch!

Both the breakfast and the blocks look really yummy!!
