What's going on at our house?
Better week at school.
Routines help everyone feel comfortable.
Tanned for 30 minutes this morning, broken up into 18 + 12.
Way too hot even at 10:00 am.
Sewing like the wind (from Three Amigos)
to finish this before August is over:
Big criss-cross squares.
I often thought that wasn't enough quilting
but the well-loved quilt I made my niece
before she was born has stood the test of time.
Bright, strong colors.
Looking for a yellow multi-color polka dot binding.
Off to spend the afternoon at mom and dad's.
They're canning grape jelly.
Happy weekend!

Canning grape jelly...the perfect tie in to the RSC color of the month!
Very pretty bright and cheerful quilt. It makes me smile.
I love your criss-cross squares! Perfect for a rainbow quilt!
LOVE this quilt!! The bright colors + the grid work = AWESOME!!!
It's a terrific quilt and I like ones with space between the quilting. That's why I use Warm and White batting because it allows for plenty of space, about ten inches. And my arms can only do so much pushing and pulling. I hope you find the right binding.
What a fun design! I have some multi-dot-on-yellow fabric, but not enough for your binding.
Years ago a friend/colleague (with whom I've lost touch) was a tremendous Grace Livingston Hill fan . . . nice to see someone who still is!
Very fun quilt! Love the bright colors.
