I worked on Blockapalooza Block #8 this weekend. The basic framed square could be used for so many different applique ideas. Love that I know how to make it now.
My Cherry House quilt-along top, ready for quilting, reminds me so much of. . . this little spring cutie I made several years ago. Still loving the springy brights.
You have so many pretty ideas in the works. I like the way the red framed block looks and the floral appliques that you placed over the basket. It is fun to be creative with our red scraps this month!
Thank you for the comment about the accu cut machine. I find that our school machine is nearly identical to my friend's AccuQuilt Studio machine. The main difference is the school machine's roller is set a little lower, so no template plastic is used. I am going to try putting one sheet of scrap paper over my fabric to see if it prevents the roller from grabbing the top layer of fabric.

What a cute red scrap block. I like the border best of all.
I really like the basket with the flowers. What a fresh idea for applique!
Love that basket of flowers. So pretty.
Very pretty block.

Thanks for visiting my blog! My niece works summers at B+J's in Waterbury giving tours. Glad you enjoyed the visit.
The basket of flowers is a great way to use reds.
