Snow Day Sewing
This is the view out my sewing room window
Today, every branch has its own pile of snow.
These are the quilt blocks with a narrow, white sashing.
As soon as the roads clear up
it's off to the fabric store for backing!

Clever use of rhymes and photographs! My mother is a quilter and so was my grandmother. Beautiful homemade quilts in our home and many already passed on to my grown children. My mother made her first quilt at age 8. I kept that one for sure!

I'm a quilter and sewer too and I love how we get inspiration! Great way to see the world through a different lens.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. I love the detail of the frames. I love to quilt - when I make the time.

I love this quilt and it makes me miss my quilting days. I might have to dig out some old photos of the ones I have made for a future slice. Happy quilting!

You made good use of your snow day. Love the colors and the crisp, clean lines of your new project.

This is beautiful! I so admire people who create like this. In college, my roommate and I decided we were going to take up quilting. I have carried around the bag of blue and red and yellow squares for thirty some odd years. I will finish it someday!
