make

A green scrappy Saturday and Sunday
I'd seen this block on other blogs and was blessed to find the pattern for free at http://carterquilter.wordpress.com/. Her pretty, bright quilt is called Jelly Roll Posies for Baby. I imagined a four-leaf clover, but I'm very happy with the huge (16 1/2 inch!) pinwheel it more closely resembles. Yet another opportunity to practice machine binding on a small project.
It's quite Spring-ish. I'm gonna hang it outside my classroom door this week, or maybe it could be a humongous mug rug.
and I still have plenty of greens to play with next week:
